It took me about two days once I actually got all the pieces and the drilling and dipping done.. I used Plasti dip, which is a dip for plastics that coats them in a thin layer of rubber for the grip and some of the pieces...I built it out of, believe it or not, bathroom pieces.. Sink Tailpiece, PVC pipe, Showerhead, washers, etc.. The only thing different about mine then the "instructions" I found online for this one is that I couldn't find another Economy Shower Head at Lowes... I think they discontinued them, though I'm not sure.. But I went to both of them we had in town, one of them the same one I went to to find the first one.. See I lost the screw on end to it, so I had to improvise and used a poly washer to level the threads out a little with the rest of the head and then dipped the end in plasti dip.. If I could find those shower heads again...You could use a faucet handle, just drill a hole in the end of it ansd through the main tube and take a screw and screw it down..

I'm gonna be doing a Vader style saber next.. It might not light up though.. But I thought it'd be nice to make the g/f a saber too.. I'll have to let her choose what version.. You can find instructions like I did here.
